Dr. Murray focuses on preventive dental care and restorative dentistry for the entire family. He is comfortable with patients of all ages and has treated patients from 6 months old to 101 years old. His eye is on quality and responsible dental treatment, and with this in mind exceptional attention to detail ensures the best possible treatment results. He excels in minimally-invasive, conservative, biomimetic treatment techniques to help preserve natural tooth structure to help you keep your teeth for a lifetime. Dr. Murray is constantly investigating the newest and historical dental research to ensure proven strategies are guiding treatment success.
Dental technology is important to Dr. Murray. We utilize digital x-rays to keep your exposure to x-rays as low as possible, and high-quality composite resin filling materials with no mercury containing metals. We work with well-established local dental laboratories to offer the most updated and properly designed crown and bridge materials. Dr. Murray ensures a high level of quality control through every treatment process.
Dr. Ian Murray understands that communication ensures that patients receive the personalized attention we all deserve. Patients are not rushed through the process of dental examination to treatment. Dr. Murray takes the time to answer questions and explain treatment options so that his patients can make informed decisions about their oral health. Dr. Leslie Snow Phillips brings a wealth of experience in general dentistry to our practice. Known for her gentle approach and attention to detail, Dr. Phillips excels in helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. She's particularly passionate about educating patients on preventive and restorative care, believing that a informed patient is an empowered one. Dr. Phillips is dedicated to creating a comfortable, stress-free environment for all her patients, especially those who may feel anxious about dental visits.
Dr. Phillips and her husband Nick have been married for over thirty years and have a grown son. In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Phillips enjoys travel, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Ross
Dr. Ross, though retired, leaves behind a lasting legacy at Mission Trails Dentistry. For over three decades, he was a cornerstone of dental care in our community, known for his exceptional skills and warm chairside manner. Many of our long-time patients fondly remember Dr. Ross for his dedication to their oral health and his ability to make every visit feel personal. While he's now pursuing new passions, including developing a Broadway play and a documentary about his father's famous LA music recording studio, his influence continues to shape our practice's commitment to compassionate, quality care. We're proud to carry forward the tradition of excellence that Dr. Ross established in our San Carlos neighborhood.
